Questions and Answers

May 19th, 2009
Author: XBellevueplayar

There have been a lot of questions floating around about the future of RedmenRumble.com and I thought it was only fair to address the issue. Over the past year I have made a major upgrade in camera equipment and lenses for the website totally more than $1,600 just last summer alone. I had made an agreement with someone that I would purchase their camera while buying my own lens and that I could use their flash for the 2008 season only to purchase my own for the 2009 football season. Last year was very costly for me with time laid-off of work and now again for anywhere from 3-12 weeks while working in automotive. I will be unable to purchase a flash on my own by the time the 2009 season starts and if RedmenRumble is to continue I will need the help of area businesses or donations from the fans. I need to raise atleast $350 to purchase a decent USED flash. I get a ton of hits (viewers) each year and if everyone was to just chip in at least a dollar I’d have more than enough to purchase the flash and operate the site. I’ve put a July 1st deadline on getting enough donations or businesses to sponsor and if at that time I don’t have enough funds anything I’ve collected from now until then will be returned and RedmenRumble will be offline come the first of August. I’ve enjoyed running this website for the past seven years now and truly hope that I will be able to continue to provide Redmen football coverage to the surrounding area and the former players and graduates that have moved outside of the local area. You can contact me by emailing XBellevueplayar@RedmenRumble.com or via the staff profiles page where you'll see my cell number.

2008 Photo Disks

November 20th, 2008
Author: XBellevueplayar

I have just finished my 2008 photo disks that I will be selling here on RedmenRumble for $35. The disks include ALL photos taken during the 2008 season on 2 DVDR disks so that you can get them printed at a printing lab or Walmart. It also comes with a copy right release forum so you won’t have any problems getting them printed. I need to raise a total of nearly $500 this year between the Varsity and Youth football programs in order to be able to take pictures next fall. I was using someone else’s flash this season and have to purchase my own by 2009. I've put thousands of dollars of my own money into the website since starting it in 2002 and I'm no longer in position to do so. Thank you for your support of RedmenRumble and the Bellevue students that take the field whether on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons. You can contact me via the staff profiles page where you'll also see my cell number or drop me an email.

145 - Nasonti passes Shaffer

September 26th, 2008
Author: XBellevueplayar

During the 110th meeting between Bellevue and Norwalk Friday night it was the Redmen who took the Truckers behind the old woodshed for a good old fashion whipping winning 62-7 in front of Norwalk’s homecoming crowd. Afterwards Athletic Director Brian Schubert awarded Redmen headcoach Ed Nasonti with a commemorative football marking the historic evening as he became Bellevue’s career coaching leader passing Lowell Shaffer with 145 wins and only 41 loses. Nasonti only took 18 years to reach the milestone which was set by Shaffer over his 22 year career. Congratulations to coach Nasonti and the Redmen Team on this achievement.

Nasonti ties Shaffer

September 19th, 2008
Author: XBellevueplayar

The Redmen wanted to come out Friday night and make a statement after a tough loss last Friday in Fostoria and that's is exactly what they did a convincing 48-7 win over Upper Sandusky. Junior Quarterback Curtis Watson threw for 405 yards, threw 4 touchdown passes and ran for 2 others but it all fell in the shadows of a historic mark in Bellevue Redmen history as Headcoach Ed Nasonti tied Lowell Shaffer's record for the most victories in School history. The Redmen look to improve to 5-1 next Friday in Norwalk as Nasonti passes Shaffer on the all-time career list.

The Micah Hyde Show

September 12th, 2008
Author: XBellevueplayar

The Bellevue Redmen who came into Friday’s contest with the Fostoria Redmen could do little but sit back and watch as Fostoria’s talented quarterback Micah Hyde took over the game while accounting for nearly 400 yards of total offense. Bellevue managed just 14 points after averaging 33 points per contest in their first three games. Bellevue will look to get back in the win column next Friday at BAF Stadium verse Upper Sandusky. Head coach Ed Nasonti with a win will tie former Redmen coach, Lowell Shaffer as the career leader in all-time victories for Bellevue.
